Plan and deliver structured phonics and early literacy lessons; teach letter sounds, blending, segmenting and decoding; integrate phonics with vocabulary, comprehension, creative writing and oral communication; assess pupils’ reading and writing progress; develop teaching resources; provide targeted interventions; collaborate with class teachers and parents; and maintain academic records. Other Requirements -Specialized training or certification in phonics instruction. Qualification
NCE, B.Ed., or B.A. in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Early Years or Lower Primary.
